Ruoying (Frances)

CEO and Principal Consultant

Ruoying is a highly recognized college admissions consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area and San Marino, Los Angeles. She has helped hundreds of students achieve their dreams of attending prestigious universities. She focuses on cultivating a growth mindset in students, benefiting them for a lifetime. In addition to emphasizing results, she customizes admission plans and application strategies based on each student’s personality and strengths.

Ruoying majored in English Language and Literature and earned a Master's degree in English Education from the University of Pennsylvania. With years of experience in English teaching and college admissions consulting in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, she is dedicated to helping students explore academic and life directions while uncovering their personal potential.

As a champion of public service, Ruoying has crossed racial and cultural boundaries to establish the California Youth Education Foundation. She organizes charitable music concerts and art auctions through venues like Stanford University, San Francisco Chinatown, and Sunnyvale’s New Year’s celebrations to raise awareness about poverty and hunger in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Ruoying is a certified member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).

Justin

Educational Consultant

Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Justin specializes in providing academic, extracurricular, and higher education application planning advice for students and families. Drawing from his experience growing up in an immigrant family and his diverse international work background, Justin helps families bridge cultural and communication gaps while guiding students to explore non-linear educational and career paths.

Justin graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Master's degree in Asian Studies/International Economics from Johns Hopkins University, as well as an MBA from Columbia University. He has worked in the tech industry for several decades, including professional experience in East Asia. His interest in education began when he was invited to give a satellite communication speech for the Pakistani Youth Space Camp. Subsequently, he served as an alumni interviewer for both Columbia Business School and Johns Hopkins University, and later transitioned into college admissions consulting. He has also worked as a substitute teacher in several school districts in the Bay Area.

As a long-time member of Toastmasters International, Justin has mentored participants, hosted competitions, and held club management positions. He incorporates interview and public speaking skills into his consulting practice to help students improve their communication abilities.

Currently, Justin is an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and a member of the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC).

June graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master's degree in Higher Education and earned her Bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies from Emory University. Her undergraduate and graduate experiences laid the foundation for her passion for teaching and academic guidance.

With a background in both educational consulting and teaching, June specializes in academic planning, college application support, and standardized test preparation. She has helped high school students achieve their academic goals and worked with students from diverse backgrounds to enhance their learning experiences.

June is dedicated to creating personalized learning environments that spark students' curiosity, help them achieve outstanding results, and foster a lifelong passion for learning.

Charlotte

Charlotte is an experienced writer, editor, and teacher. Her time as a history teacher in the Pleasanton School District has given her a deep understanding of high school students' personalities, trends, and modes of expression.

With over a decade of experience in optimizing personal statements and college application essays, Charlotte excels at highlighting a student’s true voice and unique perspective to captivate admissions officers. She has also been awarded third place in the Washington Writing Competition (Fiction category), showcasing her exceptional writing talent.
